• Nice I really like this idea! It's a cool mix of genres and definitely has a lot of potential. The music was solid, the art was simple but fun, reflected the pong era and made things clear which I would say is a success. I really like the card mechanic and think that there's something special there. Right now however, I don't think all of the kinks are quite ironed out. It feels strange to me that I have to play my cards on a timer since there's no reason that I can't see why I wouldn't be allowed to choose and decide. Additionally, I don't see much of a reason why I would ever play attack cards on my defense turn, and having them in my hand as an option sort of clutters my decisions. A possible way to go forward would be to give each card a trade off, maybe if you play attack cards on your defense turn you get more mana on your attack turn. Something to add a bit of complexity so when my cards come up, my decision doesn't boil down to "which ones are defense? Okay play all of them". I think the idea is super cool and that you're probably on to something here! I think the design could really come together and become something super fun like balatro or peglin. Thanks for the entry!
