  • The GDD is pretty bare-boned, no graphics or visuals of any kind and no development timeline. The intro scene was bugged, there was no indication that's an intro scene even, initially it just looked like the game was stuck but after waiting for a few minutes the actual game would start. As for the mechanics: blocking did not seem to work, neither did attacking (the goblin did not seem to take damage). There's also no explanation about how to refill your magic, or how to get up from a ledge grab. The background was bland and the lack of music and SFX really took away from the gameplay. But... With all this being said, you did do a FANTASTIC job with the animation and art-style! The animations are extremely smooth both for fighting and for movement. The overall art-style is great as well, it really shows that lots of work went into the fine details of the character and the NPCs. All in all, while the game, at least for me, did not work great, it did look amazing.

Cool art and mechanics sound interesting, but like the other reviewer wrote, I had trouble getting past the first bit of dialogue unfortunately. If there's something I should try to get further in the game, let me know!
