The controls and aiming need a bit more work here.

At one point, I just sat at a corner and spammed space bar as projectiles fell from the sky. In other words, it wasn't very engaging.

Also, I would avoid having backgrounds that were pulled straight from Google images. I know it's hard to make art, but those images are really out of touch with this. Last thing, have your tutorial show up after the player hits the start button from your game. Having a "How to Play" on your menu would have play testers to skip that.

Thank you for the feedback. The background images are from canva.com, not google images. Many people use stock assets for their games. I suspect that without stock assets, those of us just starting out - and really trying to learn it all, while in flight - may become frustrated and  quit.  With that said, I did have fun trying to create some of my own assets ( bird, bullets, blocks and even some of the music) and hope to eventually get better at it. And noted about the placement of the instructions -good suggestion.

It's an interesting idea and I think you've used the theme well. I love the death sequence with the halo and floating up to bird heaven :). Overall it's a fun game- nice work!

I like the pixel art and the bird shooting the bullets out of its mouth is quite funny. The animation for exploding the bullets is good and overall it was fun trying to time shots right to shoot them down.

Thank you for playing.

Fun overall.  I had a hard time with the aiming, wish I could manually aim but it seemed like this was what you were going for which is totally fine.  Sounds were great and like the death sequence haha.  Good job

Developer

Thank you.

It's really fun, the only thing i would suggest is to simplify the player controls, overall nice works!

Developer

Thank you, but I think you forgot to rate my game.

Ah!, good thing you reminded me!, i've rated it!

Interesting concept. The only thing is that I don't see why would you teleport to the other platforms when you can easily shoot everything from the central one. Maybe put something so the players use that ability more. It was fun despite of that.

Thanks for your feedback.

Good Gameplay and nice retro Art :D

Developer

Thank you.

Woah, you really nailed the retro theme, at the same time it looks really visually appealing and well done. The pixel art on top of  realistic background looks great too! The concept is super clever. I especially like how you can collect blocks to rebuild the platform.  The only slight issues I had were that I couldn't tell what the little green sphere between the right and center platforms was... and I also found the how to play screen really hard to read. I totally get you were going for the retro vibe with that too, but I'd recommend either changing it from green to white, or adding spaces between points. :)

Good job!

Thank you for the feedback, my family helped make the how to play look good and I made the background a bit transparent to make stuff look much better. I will remember this when I make a sequel to this game.

Very unique and fun! The how to play seemed intimidating but when I hopped in I got the hang of it pretty quick. Great job!

This game was really fun! I thought the bird angel animation upon death was really cute. I'm not great at games, so I didn't get far, but I still had fun as a video game novice.

Developer

I am glad you had fun. I also like the bird angel death animation.

Thank you very much.

Really engaging games, makes you try even harder and every hit in a platformer makes you think you could have done better, overall really fun experience. Congrats!

Developer

Wow, thanks. I love these nice comments.

Mechanics were cool. It would be interesting if the first stage had a larger platform i could experiment on more freely

Developer

Thanks for the feedback, I should of added a few more blocks on the first stage.
