cant seem to figure out how to boost the game's rating but it is an amazing indi game. short and sweet while fantastically mad

couldn't get past the runes. nice mood of the game tho

An entirely immersive and moody archeological horror. The use of scholarly articles and book entries to build a cross-textual context to the mystery of the clay figurine was a great idea. Great use of small and creepy changes to the model through the ooze to convey the sense of increasing dread. As illustrated by the votes this has received, players are drawn to and strongly appreciate when developers are able to mine into a niche not seen before.

Thanks for submitting The Children of Clay to the jam!

The atmosphere and post-processing is great. I loved doing the puzzles, and the ending gave me goosebumps JUST because it’s all about letting your imagination run wild. Everything continues to be calm, and yet… A superb experience, thank you!

It was a cool  game, and so unique.

Mixed feelings about this game. The visuals are incredibly good, and the idea really original. The puzzles and how to progress are quite tough.

The search felt very innovative and restrictive at the same time. On one hand you have freedom to type anything, but if you don't get the clues quick enough you get stuck quite quickly as well.

Overall, very creative concept!

Great example of how details matter!

Very good, would love to play a fully fledged point'n'click game like this.

Really good game, like the stop motion look and usage of hungarian folklore, respect👍

Oh this was great. Super nice, and the puzzles were fun (although, like some others I didn't get the runes, had to look up how others figured them out, which is a skill issue indeed). And the visuals were top-notch, really well made and overall just perfect for this game. Amazing work!

The atmosphere, aesthetics and subtle horror was amazing. Our only issue with it was that it was too short and we wanted more :D

Wow.... Great game, I need more. Aesthetics are amazing, I love the gameplay (Really enjoy the progression and how we are fed the information but not told what it important) And the sound design is on point, probably my favourite part.

Would love to see more of this style, I'd play this for hours!

Wow this is a game that is so unique. Feels like crazy to see how stop-motion is used in this game and it really created a great atmosphere. This is really innovative and I'm wondering how did you figure out something like this.
