GJ on the game! The keys could have stood out a little more and the lantern took up a lot of space on the screen. I enjoyed the spooky atmosphere and loved soaking it in!

Good submission! I loved the art style however the game was a little too dark (by that I mean too hard to see where I was going) in my option. In contrast to what others have said I personally didn't mind being trapped while listening to the dialogue, I thought the dialogue was very well done and acted overall. Another issue I had was I was unsure what I could/couldn't interact with, especially at the start so I ended up running around spamming 'E'. It was a very good game, great work!

Overall this is a solid submission, and quite ambitious for a 7 day jam! I enjoyed the art style, although I'm not sure how well it pairs with the investigative, psychological tone... but I enjoy the "crunchy" look of it. I think if the fog and screen effects were slightly reduced it would make the game more enjoyable!

I was immersed in the game and it has a great atmosphere and clear passion woven into it, so I appreciate it a lot. It would be cool to see what you can cook up with even more time.

Some small issues with the game:

  • The first key was very hard to spot, it was hidden in plain sight! If it was slightly brighter it would help
  • I wasn't looking at the correct area at the end, missing the climax
  • I didn't enjoy being trapped in areas whilst listening to the story. I think it's fine but the sequences are a little too long

Sorry,  I don't know how to fix that problem :[

I managed to get it working and after stumbling around in the opening area to too long I finally found the key to progress. Past that point I was on edge the whole time so this is an excellent example of tension and atmosphere.
