What another great game from sodaraptor! This game couldn't have came out at a better time, I very recently finished Hypnagogia and was blown away by that game--and wouldn't you know--this game came out seemingly right after I finished playing that. This is a hauntingly beautiful game with such heavy atmosphere at times. I was holding my breath at certain moments in the game, and I only realized when I got ready to speak.

How did you choose to implement the Theme: Realm of Nightmares in your game?
Translated real recorded dreams into playable environments and made prevalent use of moths throughout the game as you progress.
Did you implement any of the optional Bonus Challenges, and if so, which ones?

I spent at least 30 minutes playing and it was so confusing at first, then you start progressing and I kept getting nervous until the very end. The story was so beautiful and I enjoyed the enviroment so so much even when it got worse and worse it was still nice to see it along the story progression. Anyway, a true gem just as I expected from SodaRaptor :D
What an amazing entry and what a great new indie horror gem to find. I spent almost 40 minutes playing this, exploring all the interactable assets and simply enjoying the environment design of this beautiful game. I will be restarting a second playthrough in a bit. Either I may have done something wrong, or I may have encountered a bug. At the end of the second dream after getting the glowing moth ball and walking up to the character in the sofa by the abyss, I jumped down, ended up on the other side, and the glowing ball was gone which essentially locked me into the other side of the map without being able to progress. I don't know why this happened, I'll have a second playthrough again just to make sure. Hope to finish the game soon.
Might be a little biased since I loved Hypnogagia Archives so much and was thrilled to see more of raptor's funky dreams. Also there's the ending that struck a deeply personal chord, thanks for that buddy! But really, great ambience, great exploration with clues that aren't glaring in front of you but alos not impossible to find. Love how rancid the vibes progressively got. Anyway ya, loved it, can't wait for more!
That was great. I do have some complaints, not narratively but in terms of gameplay. first of all, I feel like the symbols on the back of pictures should just be replaced with numbers. If they hold actual significance within the narrative then sure keep them in but if they don't just number them off it's easier that way. Also, I literally just guessed until the combination worked. What was I looking for? Originally I was attempting to list off the photo's relevant to the age of the character within them. I thought it was him as a kid, then in high school with friends, then in collage with friends, then married, but that combo didn't work so I just gave up and listed random shit. Additionally I feel like you should add some hints into where to go next or interact with things, audio cues or some visual draw. Especially in the warehouse because it took me three minutes to figure out you can move the rug. Apart from that it was a wonderful game. I always love cryptic storytelling left to interpretation.
Holy shit. What a great experience. It took me around 45 minutes to an hour to complete. It really feels like a nightmare after another. I can't believe how much could be done for a game jam.
I think the game suffers a bit from orientation issues and unclear objectives at time but maybe that adds to the nightmare feeling. Had my spine chilling for a LONG time. Very creepy.
