How did you choose to implement the Theme: Realm of Nightmares in your game?
The player is stuck in a nightmarish place and she needs to find her way out. It's like she's in a different realm...of nightmares.

Did you implement any of the optional Bonus Challenges, and if so, which ones?
Land of dreams and a little bit moths, but not as many moths as I'd like.

The artwork is the best part, you wouldn't guess it was made with RPGMaker at first glance. Love the monsters' desings and how you use an elevator as a sort of hub location (I have a soft spot for spooky elevators). Hoping for a post-jam update.

Thanks a bunch! I'm glad you like it. I hate elevators lol, but creepy elevators are definitely fascinating. :)

Games made in rpg maker that aren't the usual rpg style are very close to my heart. Add some beautiful graphics and an excellent soundtrack, spiced with a very eerie story and you get Retelova (Scrambled elevator!)

I like how each demon has a different challenge for you, the only thing I'd suggest is I lost a lot during the sequence game because it didn't work with my mouse. I figured later I had to use the keyboard to play, so maybe disable the mouse? Other than that, it was a really nice experience! I'm sometimes wary of rpg maker games because they tend to feel repetitive or cookie cutter but this one definitely broke the mold. I hope you work more on the story and how these dreams (nightmares?!) are tied to the disappearances.

Really nice job!

Thank you! I really appreciate this comment, I worked a lot to try to not make it generic rpg maker, so thank you! And I didn't even think about people who use their mouse on the sequence game, so I will definitely make a note of that and do some changes. That game seems to be causing a lot of problems lol. I'm also definitely going to work more on the story too. Again, thank you very much and I'm glad you liked it. :)
