I believe this is what the term "peak fiction" was created for

Glorious. The game pulled off the art style really well and it was super fun. I actually would love to see this taken further after the jam because it's a blast. All the glowiness taking up my screen scratched my brain in a very particular game. Balancing issues and not a ton of story, but that makes sense for a jam game. Can't believe you were a one man band!

this is epic! yeaaa it was kinda not meant to be balanced in a way necessarily, the jam difficulty should be pretty doable if ur comfortable with the shooty games but theres definitely a couple of hardmode things that are just silly lol. hoped to kinda just get something for people who wanted more or just a silly challenge at the end of it. there was definitely like 3 10-15 hour days lol but i planned for that initially had some days off work which was very convenient. surely its not crunch if its planned for

Definitely how that works lol. I didn't get to do much for our game since it's finals week but I hope to have off work and school for whatever jam I do next. Insane work!

Definitely enjoyed it the first time I played it, same with the second, still not able to grab books when im too large, but thats not worth enough to give less than a 5 on gameplay, it was really enjoyable imo

would give 5 overall if only cirnos smile was a mustache instead :>. This game taught me to not run through portals with a "shoot first ask questions later" mindset, and the general balance in difficulty(at least outside hard mode) is a little all over the place, but its alright, music is good too, for the story there is not much to say, but what is there is good

yo yo, thanks a bunch! i feel like perhaps the environmental story with it being like a joke on a renovation service but u just break everything would maybe count for some story points but its such a stretch im not so worried about it either way! focused mainly on gameplay + music and just like overall feel but the balance was not really accounted for. some things are broken (like the book hitboxes and visual collision is kinda out of whack) but i just left it in as jank features and focused on other parts. kinda balanced the game by just plopping a bunch of extra lives in, so people can at least get pretty far and see what there is to see if its too hard

This feels like it's in the spirit of an early 2000s flash game and I'm here for it. Kind of wish I understood more of the mechanics a bit better, but I persevered until the end. I like the crayon art style, I feel like I'm inside cirno's twisted mind.

ty for playing! originally i wanted to make a more serious game but the scale theme totally broke my idea, so ended up making funny "renovation" instead, and just making everything cooked, it was fun to work on. mechanics is just all move and shoot but its more of a silly game than a balanced and .. "crafted" game in terms of mechanics.
