Pretty solid for your first game, could be more polished, but you did well.

Developer

Thanks :)

Solid gameplay, fun game overall!

Thanks a lot for playing ! :)

This was fun! I got a score of 591 :)

If you think about ever updating the game once the jam's over, I think it'd be cool to get a counter to show your score as you play.

Developer(+1)

Oh wow 591 is impressive haha ! Thanks for playing :) Yes definitely a score counter would be a cool addition !

Good effort. For the next jam, look into how Godot scales to screen size; on my 4k screen, it was only using 1/8 of the screen in the top left corner. Sounds would improve the game so much. Use a site like Pixaby or similar to grab public-domain sound effects quickly.

Thanks for playing and for the feedback! Yes, we ran into some screen size issues while exporting/uploading, we'll try to figure it out for next time. And for the sound we completely agree with you :)

hi! this was a nice game! sometimes the items spawn on the player which makes it frustrating- to fix that, when you're making your random position generator, put it into a function of its own and if it's within a set distance from the player, it uses recursion and runs itself again... anyways, i thought the game was fun, and got a score of 52! thanks for posting!

Developer

Thanks for playing and for the tip, we'll try to implement it :)
