Really well made game! Loved it so much, made my friend download it so he can play the puzzles! I love puzzle games and this scratches the right itch for me personally! Art is also amazing. One change I would like to see  is to instead of resetting the level have like a 'reset, past turn', so I could try my strategy from a different angle without needing to redo my idea of solving the puzzle from memory. Also to note, the game didn't load properly 2 times when my friend was trying to launch it, though worked the third time. Perhaps it's his hardware? I couldn't really tell.

I also would like to see different twists if you decide to further polish the game! Keep up the amazing work :)

Developer

hey thanks Coded Slush! Going to PM you about some of that’s stuff :)

Super well made, you could add more levels and launch it as a full game because it's very professional and also fun, the puzzles are challenging but not that much if you think a little. Awesome work!

I'd say this was programming heavy, good job!

Developer(+1)

thanks! Yep it took quite a bit of time up front to get everything working correctly, but most of the heavy lifting with the polish comes from the crazy smart people who made the easing functions. The hardest part is definitely getting menus to work with mouse, touch screen, keyboard, etc.  that part really sucked.

Game was very fun and I loved the music.

Developer

thanks a ton! It’s a great pack I got from a humble bundle a few months back :)

Very well presented little game. Huge respect for prioritising accessibility and options, but still ending up with a fun, polished experience as a result!

Developer

thank you! Yeah the accessibility options are always a criticism I get for my color based puzzle games, so I wanted to address it right off the bat lol they’re really good to have though and I think help the game appeal to a much wider audience.

Love the polish and feel of it, really great and simple puzzle game idea. Great work!

Developer(+1)

thank you! I think the simple idea worked really well for me this jam :)

Fun game! I am absolutely terrible at these kinds of games and even I had a good time. One thing I noticed was that at the end of each level, hitting R would still reset the level despite the text "press any key to advance" or something like that being onscreen. Still, great, mate. 8/8.

Developer

thanks for the feedback and I’m glad you enjoyed it! I didn’t even consider someone would press R and that would override the any key function, good to know! It’ll likely be mobile only moving forward so it might not matter, but I’ll definitely consider that for future games since pressing any key to continue is a pretty common thing I include in my puzzle games :)

Very nice level of polish, quality execution of a simple concept!

Developer

thank you very much! Yep it’s a super simple concept, I’m hoping that’s what’s going to get it to sell at some point!

Really fun game which can really do well if you release it on mobile. Great puzzles and really just had fun overall with this game. Great job!

Developer

thank you! Hoping it does well on mobile. I just added another 80 puzzles, I think once I’m at 180 I’m going to call it good and release it :)

Developer

thanks a bunch! I look forward to trying yours out too :)

really nice puzzle game you made here! I actually manage to beat quite a few levels too, which is good for me as I'm normally a bit dim when it comes to puzzles LOL

Developer(+1)

Thanks bud! That’s great to hear as I’m targeting a more casual audience with this one, not my usual Sid Fish puzzle crowd.

Submitted

You definitely have a skill for designing puzzle games.

love it. love the music the art the puzzle design all of it is amazing. (i beat all the levels)

Developer(+1)

Thank you, and congrats on beating them all! The last couple are pretty intense, nice job!

I've never been a fan of puzzle games (I've got no patience) yet I enjoyed this and even finished it! It was really pleasant to play and polished in many levels. The undo mechanic was very much appreciated!

Developer

That’s great to hear from someone who doesn’t like puzzle games! Undo button I think is a must for any grid based game :)
