Controls were smooth, and the shooting felt nice. Nice game, was a good little challenge!
Great game with an interesting concept. Nice visuals too
cool idea
very fun and cool game! It felt so short... but for being your first game jam, you did an awesome job!
This was really fun and well executed! I like the AI features to set it apart from an on-rails shooter, like the "retreating to regen" thing. Very polished and awesome job for your first jam! :D
I think I found a bug, one of the AI lines is just blank and the talking sound just kept repeating forever, it was a line right before switching levels. I clicked and it stopped though so no biggie
I love the idea and gameplay mechanics of this concept. With a bit more work on the graphics and maybe some extra levels this would be a stellar game! Much Enjoyed!
A fun idea executed well! I love how the legs react to when you are low on health and move to a safe place. I thought at first it was just an on-rails shooter, but I was happy to see there was more to it.
I also love that you can put away your gun to move faster at the cost of not being able to shoot, it's a simple mechanic but adds a lot to the experience. I just wish it had been introduced earlier because I didn't realize it makes me go faster until near the end of the game.
(although I think it's a little weird that the arms are also robotic - it makes me question why I can use my robotic arms just fine but my robotic legs are outside of my control. I think it would make more sense if they were human arms)
I also really love the 3D artwork. Overall a very enjoyable entry!!
Thanks so much for the detailed feedback! <3
Nice work and concept <3
Thanks!
Very nice job! I like how the AI legs move on their own and when you have low health they auto move you to a safe place to regen! Great game!
Thank you!
I like the concept but aiming is very hard due to the intp delay it has. Also I went out of the map for some reason.
no input delay or glitching out of map on my end when i play in webgl
Everything is so satisfying in this game, from the slowmo to blowing up rockets mid-air!
This is essentially AI-guided Time Crisis and i love it-
-5 stars for the WOWIE!!!
Tysm!!!
AI with legs?
Nice concept I had fun playing the game. Though was lagging at times but I assume I think it was because of running it on WebGL.
The idea is pretty cool, though the legs did seem to enjoy walking back and forth over and over. After a minute or so, they decided to move on, and we beat the game. I also noticed sometimes random explosions would happen, but they may have been intentional. Other than those two things, it's a very unique idea, and it was fun!
Ahh yeah the legs tended to not like the navmesh in the last level for some reason. Also the random explosions are the robots accidentally hitting each other with the missiles!
Cool concept, but I think the legs got confused sometimes.
Yeah they do.. should have named it incompetent ai legs lmao
interesting and original game mechanics !! o_O
Great concept! Needs more polish tho.
Nice concept would be cool with bit more polish .
love the dialogue was planning on doing something similar but i had already done something different my game is basically the opposite you handle the movement and the AI handles the aiming Nice work!
Oh nice! i'll check it out!
Nice work - I love the sound of the text typing!
Also being able to shoot the rockets out of the air was sa nice touch!
thanks! for those wondering, the talking is just a bad TTS voice saying "ern" for every letter, with randomised pitch
