Why Should (You) Join?

Have you ever released a 50-hour epic RPG? Me neither. This game jam removes the lofty ambitions often associated with making an RPG. You only have 1 week to make an RPG. Thinking small and simple is highly encouraged. You don't need to work on it every day. Just take it easy, enjoy the process and jam away!

Guidelines

These are not hard and fast rules; they merely serve as additional constraints for people who want some structure. Feel free to follow all of them, some of them, or none at all. Remember, the only goal of this game jam is to finish (You)'re game in 1 week.

• Theme: Damsel in Distress
• Map Constraints: 1 Town, 1 Dungeon
• Battle Constraints: 1 Boss, 3 common enemies.
• Party Constraints: 1 or 2 player characters
• Asset Constraints: RTP/Default assets only
• Length Constraints: 30 minutes
