Definitely cute and cozy. I liked the puzzle of figuring out the optimal crop placement, and the limited choice between the two crops gave it a fun strategy element. Making long lines of cucumber chains is definitely the most fun part! Very satisfying to watch it rack up points.
There were some tiny tweaks that I think could help improve the game:
- When choosing your next crop, you have to hit the left/right keys, even though the selection arrow stays on your previous choice. I thought I could just hit down to select the one with the arrow
- It would be nice if I could hold down left/right to change columns instead of hitting it once per column
- I'm wondering if the crop descriptions could be reworded, or trimmed down, or represented with pictures, etc. It didn't take me long to understand what they all do, but I did have to reread it a few times
A well thought out, relaxing puzzle game with satisfying feedback/juice (and with a leaderboard! Nice!) 🎉
