I agree that it does suck, but it wouldn't be fair to our Patrons and Subcribestar patrons, the people that keep the game development running the most. Until we manage to release a game on a major platform and have those sales far outstrip our development costs, it'll have to be that way. The woes of indie development.

I make games simply for people to enjoy them. As long as someone loves something I make that's enough for me. If I could do it for free with the amazing team I have now, you bet your ass I would.
