I guess by "brake" I meant the S key, which is also reverse. I forgot there was a parking brake which is space. I do it going down steep hills to avoid going too fast and losing control.
Ah, that makes more sense. I didn't even really realize there was extra sound from doing this, guess I just didn't notice.
