I want to tell you I learned a lot by reverse engineering this. A lot about Harlowe, anyway. Some suggestions though. The buttons kinda clump together and don't look great that way. Adding margin: 2px 2px, fixes this pretty nicely. Also, using the browser history for a back button can cause issues.  (link-undo:) Works like the built in back arrow, and works better.
