Oh yes. I am here for this. A short vignette of something inexplicable but eerie has far more impact than a game using all the time-old tropes. I like the use of perspective and the dissonance of the audio to convey that something is off. The knowledge that this imitates a personal experience also reinforces the uncanny nature. Stuff like this sits to the side of what you'd call a game - but is unique and memorable. Kind of like little interactive art.
