I like "scheduling" game, where you have to keep track of some tasks in parallel. But for this game its a bit too much for my brain I think. Maybe unlocking the "tasks" one by one would be easier for the player, to let them have some time to understand the mechanic and have a nice difficulty curve.

I too tought of balancing the controls a bit better.
