Playing on GNU/Linux. I've had some bad luck with Unity Linux builds in /agdg/ jams, where multiple times I needed to play a Windows build with wine for things to work. And so I was happy that everything ran without issue.  I like the game's atmosphere. Exploring the wilds with chirping birds is a nice feeling. Some notes

1. It'd be good to know what I have selected after pressing a key. And then after I click, that selection would go away. For example, highlight the sticks in the inventory after selecting them and deselecting them when I place the campfire. This is something you'd surely get to without my commentary, but I thought I'd still mention it.

2. Maybe a camera zoom. The way you move the camera with WASD is interesting. I wasn't expecting it. Glad to see a dev who tries new things. Numpad character movements are also cool. Nice to see a fellow numpad/vi keys dude.

3.  In the screenshot that you showed off I don't see problems with the river but in pic below you will see trees growing out of a lake.

4. Getting a Null reference error. No crashes or anything but thought I'd point it out

It probably won't be for everyone (but when should a particular game be for everyone?), but I'm really interested to see where this is going.

Thank you for playing. It's nice to know that the Linux version works! (mostly)

You should be able to zoom with either scroll wheel or "+","-" looks like i never mentioned that in the controls.

Yea rivers are fucked. I spent a long time trying to get procedural liquid / rivers working and I wasn't able to get it exactly how I would want it. I ended up just leaving them as some water dribbling off the top of mountains.

I'm thinking about how/if base-building will be in the game, and that might include being able to dam rivers and change their flow.
