Money? Does anyone here make money? LoL! I'd be happy if somebody played something I made. I'd be ecstatic if they said something nice as well. Money is unrealistic.

Some ideas can be gold mines, but it's like lottery tickets. Maybe you get the right numbers at the wrong time? Or the one time you should have been in the game, you skipped out. Players are SUPER fickle, easily distracted, and buried alive in new things to try. My Steam library isn't even 75% played at this point. Even if the game is good, getting anyone's attention is next to impossible. A few years ago I had some hopes and dreams about making at least enough to buy a Pizza. Now I'd just like to hear a nice comment or two.

On the upside, if you're going to have an even small chance of hitting it big, VR is a good place to start. Less competition. And the Quest has even less. A good game with some hype on SideQuest could get noticed by Oculus and, yes, even make some money. So in a market where you're likely NEVER going to earn a penny, you're best shot might be a SideQuest game. At least you'll have a tiny chance of getting noticed.

i agree with you.  Exposure of the game is equally important.  Things happen after that. Anyway, if you are interested to collaborate on a project let me know.

Sure, love to. But how do we contact each other? I don't see a "PM" button. Does Itch.io even do private messages?

My username is my skype id.

I'm not fond of Skype, but I do use Hangouts all the time. My name on Hangouts is the same, albeit at Google. Same for email.

did you get my email?

We are connected! :)
