hahaha it actually is getting faster just kinda slowly, maybe i tuned that more to if it was an actual mobile game rather than a jam game. yeah an effect would definitely help i think the main thing would be thick progress lines to make the sliding of the background feel faster like 10m intervals or something, then it wld be easier to feel the speed up
