Finally got to play this with my friend after we played malViolence a few weeks ago, the wait was driving me crazy!!! My god. Even though I knew everything that was going to happen actually seeing it firsthand was something else. Not only was this fantastically written, the presentation is off the charts too, I was so impressed by how dynamic the camera angles and cgs were and the way the character sprites moved around! It really added some extra oomph to the story. I understand Dr. Deidre if i saw all that happen to Pavel i would've given him a free pass to murder too. My friend says "you've put a chip in my brain with this one." So so excited to see what you cook up next for this series, we've become seriously so charmed by these characters and the world you built up and I can't wait to see what's in store for them! Going to go cry in a corner now .

OOOOHH MY GOD played this with my friend after we played bad faith together last week and holy shit. oh my god. what the fuck. we got the escape ending on our first run and we were completely dead silent throughout that final scene. when the credits started rolling we could do nothing but continuously mutter "what the fuck" to each other under our breaths. fantastic props to you and your team for creating such a hard hitting emotional experience in a short amount of time. The voice acting went crazy hard as well i'm not easily brought to tears by fiction but the VAs performance really got to me. words from my friend who does not have an itch.io account: "my brain chemistry has been rewired. this is crazy. what the fuck. and im just supposed to move on from that???" ...anyways both dreading yet looking forward to playing protoviolence soon!
this was a fantastic game! i played this with a friend over a voice call that ended up lasting 6 hours because we read and voice acted every line together and got really into it. my voice hurt by the end but it was so worth it. SPOILERS

The third act was super cathartic to read through and i loved all the blood and gore personally, it was so peak. My friend and I did ostensibly understand that the ending wasn't intended to be satisfying but we both came out of it reading Lilia's regretful narration and thinking "skill issue" LOL. Not a slight against the writing at all though, i can see from the numerous other reviews that it definitely affected many others the way you wanted it to. Maybe it's because I had a similar experience a long time ago in which my bubbling anger/resentment boiled over and i lashed out violently, except i never once regretted it even after facing severe consequences for my actions ...maybe that says something about me that i should unpack 馃槶 All that aside, this was an extremely visceral experience we both enjoyed immensely, we're definitely going to be checking out the malviolence series together sometime soon!
