I agree, the mouse is a bit awkward but the idea was to have those buttons not be awkward or interrupt the left hand when moving with WASD. It's something we would have worked through with more time, but that's a game jam for you!

Im glad to hear your opinion on the shaders! There were a few things I really wanted to have in the game for the user experience and toggling the shaders was one of them!

You also hit the nail on the head.  A health bar or more information being passed to the player was something that was lost in the rush of completing it in time. Finding a way to display health that was pleasing, and not invasive just wasn't in the time budget, unfortunately.

Very cool idea, I like puzzles that make you think. I also really liked the sound effects.  I wish I could use my mouse though to click the blocks out!

This was a really cool one. I would have this on my phone to play a level-a-day kind of game.

This is so fun, I love the depth and the extremities you need to go through to clear all the objectives. Gave me a good laugh.

I really liked this game, it's a strong puzzle game that made me think and I felt satisfied when I eventually completed the level. The visuals, the very unique concept. I also appreciate the tutorial and the option to skip the tutorial.

I also felt a wave of nostalgia because it reminded me of playing Pokemon Diamond/Pearl where you excavate fossils and you only have a limited number of tries with a set of tools. It's a great genre I don't see enough of.

One thing is I did find it a bit too ruthless/unforgiving. It feels like some of the puzzles only have exactly enough interactions to win if I do it perfectly. It would feel much better if it had some leeway for missing or not hitting with the excavation tool.

I love the pixel aesthetic.

The sound effects are VERY LOUD and repetitive. I don't know how to play, or who I'm playing for. Im defending against the slimes but I'm supposed to be a wizard, but I destroy my own towers that stop the slimes?

Is it an auto-battler game or is there something I can do other than remove a tower?

I drew my line to the to other side, went back and forth a few times but still did not win.
Its a really cool idea, and I liked the visuals. I can see this idea built out into a really complex strategy game.

The art style is really good! I like the concept a lot.
My one thing is that I wish the jump was a bit faster. I find jumping up platforms feels like I'm having to wait and hold jump while waiting for the dragon to fully ascend the platform every time.

Also, the rabbits were a bit frustrating when starting out, since unless you go really slow you just fly into them, and with the low health you die so fast.

I dont really know how to play.  Also clicking the "Im too scared" option just soft locks the game?
Are we supposed to run from the enemy until that red bar runs out? Because I cant attack. I tried every key

I like the aesthetic and visuals. The music pairs well with it too.

I am a bit confused about how to play though. I would like it if the instructions were more clear, or maybe they popped up on the "Game-Over" screen because I am quite lost.

There is also a bug with the scroll wheel, it takes it as a bunch of clicks.
