found the demo for this through the Haunted PS1 Demo Disc--this was definitely my favorite of the bunch!! the visuals (and subject matter; who doesn't love the loveland frog man?) hooked me and the exploration-horror reeled me in. the visuals really elevated the horror here and got me thinking about retro horror in general:

finally got around to playing this and GOD that was unsettling! it takes a lot of craft to shape horror from the mundane. i couldn't stop thinking about it for like days after i played it, and it wound up making me think about how great retro horror is in general.

i ended up writing a video essay about my experience--this is inspiring stuff!!
