Hello all! 

This sale is the beginning of my journey to fund a new TTRPG called Spiritkeep. While it's perfectly playable as a homegame, Spiritkeep is a little different from your average TTRPG ... Specifically, it's a TA-RPG, or a therapeutically applied TTRPG. That means that it's designed with the express intention of inducing therapeutic growth: healing from trauma, connecting with your emotions, building new skills ... and more! 

Spiritkeep is a multiplayer game designed for campaign play with a GM. You take the role of townsfolk tasked with rebuilding a once thriving town: collecting resources, going on diplomacy missions, solving problems, and whatever else your taskforce is asked to do to return your town to a thriving state. I'm itchfunding for a few things: 

1. To pay the fee to make my thesis - all the research and philosophy that went into the design of this game, from research on TA-RPGs to educational psychology to linguistics - open access, meaning anyone can read it. 
2. Initial costs associated with game development, like resources and consultants. 
3. Further costs such as art, hiring a team, and crowdfunding costs like art.

The thesis should be published in late Summer 2025, and then the development of the game will be in full swing.

With Breath & Sword was my first TA-RPG: a solo journaling game designed to help players calm down from anxiety attacks. The other item is a zine preview of my thesis, covering the chapter outline, and major concepts such as bleed, close to home characters, and dramatic rehearsal.

This "sale" will be running for several months, and end on my 30th birthday :) I will then be graduated and can focus more on development!
