I am doing my pet project after my main job. I use Godot 4 (GDScript 2.0) and often I have very simple problems which takes me hours or days to solve. But I really don't want to give up and trying to find easier ways or at least ways to frustrate less. My level is a beginner, I have some experience coding on python. At this point I have a map and a few units you can move around the map.
The questions I am going to ask are like:
- What are best practices for unit management?
- How do I separate logics of a game balance and game mechnics
- Why when I do local_to_map sometimes I get Vector2 and sometimes I get Vector2i and how do i compare them?
So I decide it will be nice if someone with experience in Godot can mentor me. I can offer money for mentoring but this is not a big sum. If you are interested or have any ideas or just you are frustrating doing your own pet project feel free to contact me!
