I can't tell if it is a bug, but every time I enter a battle, ryen always attack at the start and everytime its his turn it was fine when i started the game, but I'm not sure if I pressed something that could have triggered this.

Maybe you bought and accidently equipped the accessory item "Spiked Choker"? It causes the character that wears it to act automatically in battles.
