The main gameplay element is boring and should be redone

I love voices of the void, this game has become my favourite horror game and just entered the top of the most adored games, but I just hate the system of daily quests and server breakdowns (I hope I am understood correctly, my native language is not English). I've already started the game 4 times from the beginning, and each time I was put off by the prospect of riding a buggy across the entire map to write hash codes. The game is perfect for me, but this part of it discourages any desire to play it.

What am I suggesting? Change the system of daily tasks, make trips to radio telescopes more important, add a horror component to them. Not so that you drive across the entire map to write out a hash code, but that at some point the radio telescope stops responding and some creepy message is revealed on the screen inside. Or that radio telescopes have to be climbed on and repaired.

VoV is a great game, I love it, but this system is often a stumbling block to trivial enjoyment of the game.

if you get a kerfur omega, you can easily ignore the daily tasks/server repairing by sending him there if you don't enjoy doing it yourself, but i do agree that the hash codes and repairs are kind of bland in the way that they don't have anything much going on with them, in fact there's barely any events i know of that really interact with the satellites at all
the core tasks in my opinion don't need any tweaks, but the stuff surrounding it really needs to be expanded to make it more interesting

Lower the difficult, At easy it's only 2 hash code
easy++ is only one hash code

Downside is day time is extended, food and sleep drain slower but both can be change in the setting.
You also get less money for daily but you have more time to do other stuff I guess.

I think the windows should be more "useable"... i cant see nothing

You can clean them with anything that can clean dirt, but they absolutely get dirty way too quickly, even after the rate they gain dirt was changed.

The benefit to replaying this game is that you get to give yourself a boost for the next game through the mailbox. If hash codes and server maintenance are the part of the game that feels like a drag to you, mail yourself a Kerfus Omega. (Either one that becomes a plushy when deactivated, or hit the robot to turn it in to parts.) Start your new game with an assistant who does all the servers and hash codes from day one.

I am not against more creepy events being put into the game. But the way this game is set up, if there is something that really annoys you, more often than not, you can just opt out or set up a workaround that lets you play how you want to play.

i feel like your suggestions will come with time, but as for your specific situation you may need to start greasing the game and setting yourself up to be busy in the first 5 or so days without touching a single satellite.

Method to get money (slight spoilers ahead)

Start the game, walk to base or debug tp with "." on numpad, collect the open trash cans around the base, 2 are directly outside the front door, 1 is in the garage, 2 are by the radio tower, and 1 is by the transformer behind the base (where the workbench is) these trash bins have their own carry weights of 300 and some change, so you can hold them in your inventory, and by proxy also store them inside of themselves (Edit: The carry capacity of the bins is around 1200, so you can store multiple bins inside of 1 if you really needed to). Use this method to gather 3 trash bins in your inventory, get on the ATV in the garage and head out of the base to the right, follow the river until you reach the tree trunk sticking out of the left side of the river bank, climb into it, remove the 50 MRES from the barrel inside, store in the 3 garbage cans, climb out, go back to base.

To get the points to sell these you can wait for servers to go down inside the base, or you can go to the bathroom attached to the bedroom/kitchen upstairs and clean the shower/sink/toilet with a bucket of water and a sponge, lots don't know that doing that and unlocking the achievement actually nets you points. The MRES by themselves will easily net you over 1 thousand dollars, and then from there you can buy trash bags and a woodchipper or whatever else to sell all the trash from inside your base.

Apologies for this long winded ass tutorial but this game is weird as shit so I feel like I have to be ultra specific. But this is essentially my method of playing every single time I start a new save, which is for basically every single version that releases at this point.
