Is [SPOILER] camping me?

I had stayed up to try and send off enough data drives on time, and was at pretty low stamina but DID manage to get to the bed and get to sleep. But, then some event or entity got close to the base, and i was booted out of sleep. I posted up in the room to wait it out, but eventually realized there were a few faint moving pixels in midair *on the bed with me*.

Is the insomnia demon taking advantage of my sleepless state to jump me? I quit out, I am meek and easily scared and didn't want to deal with this thing's jumpscare AGAIN, but the next time it happens is there anything i can do to get it to shove off?

The Insomnia appears if you have less than 15 points of stamina, and plunges the player into sleep by force. To get rid of it, it is enough to sleep. It disappears if the points of stamina are more than 15

There are several practical solutions to this, but yes, you are being stalked by Insomniac and they are waiting to grab you when they can.

  1. if you have at least 15p you can go to the vending machine downstairs and grab a soda or XtraNRG  (go down to 0 on the list), which has several uses and can help keep you out of Insomniac's clutches if an event is messing with you. This also grants a small amount of hunger.
  2. If you've got 251p, you can keep a coffee machine (machines) and bag of coffee (misc) handy, drink a full cup and forget about those scary glowing eyes, waiting to choke you to sleep. This also grants a small amount of hunger.
  3. ||if you've got an event that is properly stuck, and will never go away no matter what you do (bugged out forever Krappus I'm looking at you), you can use the Terminal in the server room. Typing "debug events" will show the name of the event that is harassing you, and "debug scrape" should remove the event (and meta paranoia), but should be used sparingly and with caution as it can kill story events, which can break the game.||

edit: I cannot spoiler in replies, whoops
