Heya, Royce here, with two upcoming visual novels!

One is a spiritual sequel to Full Service Shop, aiming to take a Transmasc eye toward dark academia and "forbidden knowledge."

I've got over 35k words written across five routes, with safeword functionality making a return! I've also been doing a lot of design work for the characters and the offices. Last time, every technician's office was functionally the same, but I'm looking to add some big and beautiful environments this time. I want it to be aesthetically pleasing, but the kinks are also going to require more resources, this time...

We're also assembling five routes, and each is an academic, magician, or mad scientist of some sort. It's important that they have big personalities, and since this isn't for a game jam, I'm also doing a lot of sketching and tooling about to try to figure out how they should each look:

Tsushi is working on two routes, and I'm working on three. We're pretty excited with what we've got so far, and I'm happy that this game isn't for a jam; it's nice to lavish more time and love onto a project! We don't have a release date yet, but keep your eyes here on itchio, I'll let you know when its ready!

I'm also working on another game, and this one's in the world of May I Take Your Order. If you wanted to go back to that restaurant, this is your chance! 

NonPlatonic Forms is a spooky little romance about a tricky human and a hungry, dying storytelling deity who wants to scoop out his free will and make him into a sycophantic member of his eternal audience. I'm working the placeholder elements for this one, too, but if you'd like to see a scene in motion, check out the video below:

And yes, Talaiporia and Hendrik will not just be in it, but will be very important characters to the story. I'm still hashing out updated designs for them:

So yeah, I've been very hard at work! If you'd like to play either of these games early, as well as regular updates and production art, then you'll want to head on over to my Patreon. I'm not looking to get tens of thousands of dollars for a whole production budget; I'd just like to make a couple hundred a month to keep the heat on over the winter. We're already halfway to the goal, so if a handful of you chip in, we can lock it down nice and quickly and I can get going!
