Good and bad news

Hey everyone, hope you're all doing good!

We're super excited to let you know that version 0.7 is almost ready. All the CGs and animations are done, we just need to check over the English translations and sort out a few bugs.

So, it looks like the game might be coming out sooner than we thought. This also means I can get started on the feed with Noriko quicker, which I bet some of you will be pretty happy about.

Now for the not-so-great news.

I haven't really hammered this home before, but Goodbye Eternity could really use your support right now. Patreon is the only way we're making money to develop the game. Itch.io hasn't been great for us adult game creators, so I don't think we can rely on them going forward.

Big thanks to everyone who's supported this project, or plans to support it in the future. You're the reason this is even possible.

Take care, and we'll be in touch soon about 0.7.

Have you thought of setting it up on Subscribestar.adult ? That's where I do all my monthly support to creators. If you are already set up there, I'll look for you. If not, just a suggestion.

I really like this VN but constantly supporting on patreon isn't something that I really like to do.
I may patreon for a month - then quit and become a patreon again like 3months later. At least until I have more disposable income.

when you say itch hasn't been great, do you mean from a financial perspective or that you're not happy with the platform?

If you spin through some of the other 18+ type games you will see that Itch has effectively banned "Adult" games from making money from selling games on Itch. Perveteer on "Tales from the Undending Void" has a good write-up on a recent update post if you want to see what Itch has done from a financial perspective. Also a great game if you are into...certain things.

Question if we have already donated through Icho do are we still able to get the game on full release? Cause I do not have the money to continuallly donate at patreon.

if you bought the game then yes, you can still upgrade when new release comes out
