New solo experience, Curios: Albrecht Manor is out now!

Hello to any potential solo ttrpg fans!

I have a new solo mystery experience out with Good Luck Press!

Curios: Albrecht Manor is an epistolary horror mystery experience. A haunting story told over a series of letters and ephemera. The inaugural entry into the Curios Archive, Albrecht Manor invites enquiring minds to pour over the letters of Alex Dunn to discover the circumstances of their disappearance and how it’s entangled with a string of house fires over the decades.

What happened to Alex Dunn? Decipher the mystery before the letters stop.

You can grab the digital version over here on the Good Luck account.

It's also available as a physical edition from the Good Luck Press webstore.

You can get the physical edition here!

I hope you check it out and enjoy solving the mystery.

Is the email in the contact form still active? I played the game last night with a couple people and I still haven't received an email from "The Archivist." It's a little disappointing to not be able to get any kind of closure when playing with a group of people lat at night :(

FWIW, I really enjoyed the story and experience (it was especially fun/funny since I had JUST finished reading House of Leaves), but I wouldn't really call it a game or a mystery that needs solving. It's more of an immersive story. The "mystery" seemed pretty straight forward and revealed itself in a pretty linear manner. We took copious notes, but didn't need any of them.

I still very much enjoyed the experience, but I just wish the copy/advertising better set expectations about what it actually was. I was expecting more of a puzzle, but there really wasn't anything that needed to be solved (at least not in a traditional sense). I fully admit that may be my own fault, I found Albrecht Manor (I think) on a blog post recommending "games" to buy people for Christmas but it might also the fault of Good Luck Press, idk.

I look forward to playing the next one, Jasper Park, and I hope to see more of this format and how it evolves. It is still a very cool, fun, and engaging concept!
