Happenings: What am I doing across the internet?

I think that this is best generalized into one post rather than make this separate topics.

Concerning what I'm doing as of right now I'm currently a Sprite Artist for Newgrounds: Zero Hour. Given a lot of the changes that have been happening because of the original organizer for the project, ThatJohnnyGuy, has been exposed for very serious scandals that you will likely find being discussed on Newgrounds itself. I don't want to bring the drama from there onto here since it's my place to talk about that, so you'll have to look in it yourself if you care about that particular project.

That said I actually like the change of leadership given that the guys who are running the project now I like. They're just honest and for me to grow in that area of animation is something that I'm not underestimating. I'm grateful that the project isn't being totally killed off and I look forward to what's to come since I originally took on the opportunity.

Outside of that, I've also been continuing with some other collabs on my own time, ranging from the Castlevania Redrawn Collab, and some of my own personal projects. I've also been looking for more steady sources of income but I have been re-assessing my options in how I go about supporting myself as an artist.

I've been to hell and back just to get where I am in my career, I'm not about to give that up now. When I take up a project I'm there to do my work.

Besides visual art and animation stuff, I've been practicing martial arts as late. I'm hoping that by the time I am in a better position fiscally I may as well invest in a skill where I know how to defend myself and my own interests knowing that my mortality is a fragile and precious thing to keep until my time comes. With the fall season incoming I can't wait for the colors of the leaves to change, more brisk air before the den of winter. It'll make things a bit more enjoyable to move about when I'm walking around fresh air.

Til' Next time.
