I cannot believe that we are finally finished. This last week was our most productive, I'm yet to see anything as powerful as a Game Designer's drive to entirely revamp a game only moments before launch. Through this time we added so many quality of life changes including: better UX, more manageable quotas, and an entire opening cutscene. We're right about ready to ship the game, and you will find it here on my itch page soon. I'm so happy with the way that the game turned out after all this work was put into it.
The team is finally happy with how the game has come together. We've really pulled through at the end and we were working like a well oiled machine. The statement of 80% of the work being finished in the last 20% of time really held true here, but I am so happy with both my team and our final product. I'm also so excited to finally let this game go live, and we can finally close out the saga of Barracuda III.
During this time, we spent fixing every bug that we could get our hands on from the second playtest, and adding the final touches (including the remainder of our assets). Though we weren't adding any new features, we were making sure that all the features were in a polished state that we could finally be proud of. Each of the features we decided to showcase in class were ones that we are happy to have worked on, and while The Kalidax Farming Program is nowhere near a full game, we believe that the experience is polished enough so that one day it could become a full game. We're ready for the rest of the feedback that new players will be able to add onto our game, we haven't decided yet if we're going to continue with the project as of now, but we have decided that we are open to the idea. Hopefully we can all jump onboard once more and complete this title.

Hey Sebasfrdly, YESS I'm also super excited to publish the game and see where it goes!
What you mentioned about the 80% of work done in the last 20% of the project is SOO TRUEE, and because of that it was exceptionally amazing to see everything come together and work out. Our team's efforts to make Kalidax into the polished state as it currently is has been tremendous and we can definitely learn from the development during our post mortem!
