Clover Rise Guide!

  Helpful Guide

The game consists of 3 main parts. The first part is where we prepare to defend our village against the orcs. Every 10 days our village will be attacked by orcs. Before the battle starts you have to interact with characters, collect resources and improve your defenses. The second part is the battle. You have two health bars. You must defeat the orcs and save your village before your wall collapses or you run out of soldiers. The third part starts after the war. If you successfully defend your village, story events come into play. Story events will progress in a variable way according to the decisions you make. The choices you make will appear in different dialogs and scenes days or weeks later.

There are 6 factors that will make you lose the game. These are sanity, coin, food, soldier, charisma and respect.

Sanity: You lose 10 sanity per day. Some of the choices you make will also affect your sanity. There are many ways to increase your sanity. You can keep your sanity high by interacting with characters, using the victory hole and making the right choices. Interacting with characters gives +5 sanity. If your relationship with characters is very high, you will gain +20 sanity. To use the glory hole you need to go to the dungeon and upgrade it. The higher the glory hole level, the more sanity you will gain.

Coin: Coin is the most important factor in the game. To earn coins, you can help characters with their jobs, or you can earn daily coins by making upgrades. You can buy mercenaries from the camp and then send them on missions to earn coins for you. The choices you make when solving village problems can make or lose you money. So make sure you have money to spare before solving problems.

Food: To earn food, you can help characters with their jobs, send mercenaries to collect food, or upgrade to earn daily food.

Soldier: Soldiers have an important role in defending the village. If you run out of soldiers in battle, you will lose the game. Therefore, make sure you have enough soldiers before the orcs attack. You can earn soldiers daily by interacting with characters and upgrading them. Or you can buy mercenaries and assign them to recruit soldiers. During battle, if you don't have the tools of war to use, you will be forced to send soldiers into battle. Sending troops into battle will get your soldiers killed. That is why it is very important to go to the castle and get siege weapons before the orcs attack.

Charisma and Respect: Charisma and respect are very important in story activities. Your decisions will be based on charisma and respect. Just because you see 2 options in any choice does not mean you have no other choice. Some options become visible according to your Charisma and Respect value. You can increase these values when you interact with characters or solve village problems.

Energy: When you go home and go to sleep, your energy will be full. Each region you visit on the map will cost -1 energy. Helping characters with their work and going to the castle to craft will consume your energy. You should pay attention to your energy expenditure on a daily basis and be careful not to wander around for nothing.

You can access all the information I have mentioned here in your home. At certain points in the house there are places you can interact with. This is where you can access your daily income and expenses, your relationships with characters, or information about quests. Finally, if we talk about quests, side quests will be activated on certain days when you talk to characters. Main quests are important quests that will affect the story. You must visit the Hudson to solve village problems. If you do not solve the village problems and the problems accumulate, you will start to lose respect on a daily basis. You can see your character values drop by the red indicator on the quests tab.

Typo: "using the victory hole" (hehe) to keep your sanity high...
