Updated Gleaner N Series

this is an update i am working on that adds the following features to the Gleaner

  • bin capacities
  • lights to sides and rear with fixture models
  • work camera mod integration for backup camera
  • coloration of rims
  • added tire manufacture options
  • HP and torque increase
  • rear hitch attacher for trailer header cart
  • quicker unload speeds
  • faster top-end speed for road gear
  • enhanced badging and storefront presentation

working on color option packages

you can also select a hopped up N7 with more power, higher ground speed and gets the CORN PLUS branding...

optional flag wrap decals

adding a 6 and 8 row corn header. the 8 row has a selectable option to provide mulching as you harvest! when selected, you will see a "mulching +" decal on each side of the header. 

a flag decal option is also selectable.

i will be adding a camera view for the left and right sides of the header

and we now have working crawlers. been testing with various headers in various crops and with the helper AI

for the past few days i have lost countless hours trying to recover this mod. It suddenly (and i mean suddenly) started throwing a very cryptic error that insta-crash the game when you selected it in the store.

As of 10 minutes ago i got it working again! Can’t tell you how happy i am to see it loading again. I have to go back through and see what all has been lost in the troubleshooting, but i don’ t even care about that. Just having it all working again is an amazing feeling.

In the process, i was able to get the GIANTS Editor to update the modesc.xml to properly reflect the configs of the machine. This has made it load much faster and perform overall much better in the game.

  • finally got the rear steering working with all animations
  • redid wheel nodes and hubs. all wheels are now loading dynamically
  • wheels auto adjust spacing placement from the frame
  • hubs now loaded into wheel at correct depth
  • redid the lighting dispersion and throw
  • camera mod working with auger, rear and grain bin views
  • feeder housing animation working
  • belt animations working
  • in-cab button animations working
  • tattle tale monitoring now shows speed and RPM as well as grain bin level
  • rear trailer hitch modifications to more properly fit the rear axle joint
  • unload auger animation working
  • seat suspension working
  • updated all the texture maps and have the dirt working
  • added warning decals
  • increased bin capacities

just got done getting the initial operation of the Tattle Tell monitor for Gleaner working. When grain bin levels are nearing capacity, it lights up in the overhead dash system. Hope to get the unload auger arm and PTO lights working later tonight/today.

UPDATE

removed a huge amount of legacy code and mappings. went back over the entire mod i3D mappings.

tested in-game with AI and no issues harvesting wheat. more testing and AC headers will be used to confirm compatibility 

much more to do, but it's getting a little closer
