Hi, it's lil old me again! *wave*

So, I recently uploaded a smut demo with a scene where the main character binds herself to Legolas on her wedding night. I just thought I'd dwell about it a bit further and explain that elven bond that transcends the physical. If you don't mind spoilers for the story, then... read on.

So, as per the beginning, Tuilindil was found as a baby in Saruman's cellar. He fooled her mother and had her impregnated, in order to ensure his own survival. With his dark spell, from whence she was conceived, he bound her soul to a ring of power he implanted within the womb: Mendelya - 'Thy Will.' The ring is ingraned within her brain without her knowledge. It gives her the power to time travel back to War of the Rings when Saruman attempts to get the events of the future from her memories. He's able to break through and glimpse some of the events that are to happen. He sends his crebain to Frodo, causing him to die and Glorfindel bring back the one ring... Sam will need to carry the ring instead of Frodo and the main character will be joining the fellowship.

It will be really hard for our main character, especiall since -back in the past- she will reunite with a Legolas that has no knowledge or attachment to her, where she meets her father and mother (Elessar and Arwen) that has long passed away in her own timeline. She will need to keep quiet, try to steer clear of Legolas while trying to guide the fellowship to success and have the one ring destroyed.

Now, back to Tuilindil and Legolas' bond... it transcends time and space. Legolas of the past doesn't know her but he senses a connection to her, even if he has never seen her before in his life. She's trying to keep uninterested and keep her distance away but he seeks her out.

Anyway, being Saruman's offspring, she is also part maia. After their wedding night, because of the elven bond, Tuilindil is able to bring Legolas to the timeless void where she may travel to revisit memories. She revisits the one where she is found as a baby and Legolas needs to explain to her the circumstances and the fact she has been sired by Saruman. That is the reason she has the ability to travel through the timeless void, and she gives Legolas (of her timeline) that same ability.
