A month or two ago a guy came into a Discord server I was in and immediately, out of nowhere, started going into rants.
He physically threatened a Discord mod, then got insecure about his height telling people he was over 6ft tall and he could drop them, started bragging about being intelligent and enlightened, and unsurprisingly got banned. He wasn't being ironic or trolling he was seriously upset. He kept trying to call the mod, refused to listen to warnings, etc. He mainly seemed insecure that the moderator had privileges he didn't.
No one instigated even so much as a small conversation with him it was wild.
Out of curiosity myself, and a couple others, tried playing his game. Well it isn't his game, it's an entirely AI generated visual novel, and a game is a bit of stretch since it doesn't seem like the multiple choices the story gives you make any difference.
I left a bad review but I didn't simply outright insult him trying to be the bigger person. Not that threatening people online is exactly a high bar to beat. He followed me straight after.
Now after all this time I have posted my first game and get a comment from him.
Unfortunately he, after all this time, made this comment and then blocked me.
The irony of someone who makes none of their content saying I copy my code is not lost on me.
I was actually going to make an attempt to share a little insight on how the AI works or how the warehouse shuffles but I highly doubt I would get anything close to a reasonable response.
I did try Googling "Dastardly fiends logic and mayhem" but have no idea what that is still.
Absolutely my favorite review. I'm gonna quote on the cover if I ever do a big revamp. Can't even be mad I'm just impressed with their patience.
