Version 4.5 of the scraper is out now! As a reminder, this script is 100% unofficial and is in no way supported by Itch, it's a tool I kludged together for myself and have shared with the community after seeing that I wasn't alone in looking for a way to do it.
Disclaimer: This script is NOT supported or endorsed by Itch, nor is it in any way official. It is a tool that I kludged together on my own and decided to share with the community after seeing others looking for the same functionality
This post is about a script I wrote last year, and have been actively maintaining. If this is the first post you've seen about this, welcome! The script is designed for the TamperMonkey browser plugin, which you can get here: https://www.tampermonkey.net/ User scripts can be dangerous, so it's always best to vet the code and not to blindly install anything. I've done my best to comment things that it does, you're also welcome to copy/paste the code into GPT and have it break it all down as well
To those who have just found your way here - welcome. A few years ago, I realized Itch doesn't have a native way to export collections/libraries to CSV files. I saw a few people asking if/how to do it, and the general consensus was that Itch doesn't offer the feature so it can't be done.
So, I decided to force the feature in client-side lol.
You will need to install the Tampermonkey plugin for either Chrome or Firefox (available here: https://www.tampermonkey.net/)
Then visit this page and click the "Raw" button to install the script: https://gist.github.com/abraxas86/ad72ba46b6cdd86dc63058bba0c629c2
As always, people can write some sketchy stuff for Tampermonkey, so please be careful with the scripts you install.
Thanks to doover25 and glaubits for the suggestion!
