Once upon a time, there was a poor village—one you and your friends hope a marriage to The Honourable Odan will save. In an attempt to help the beautiful Faralda secure the noble’s heart, you convince her to undergo a spell of youth and beauty. The noble falls head over heels for her, and all seems to be well.

It’s only when the rest of you notice signs of premature—and rapid—aging that the spell’s real cost is known. Will you sacrifice your life for the village’s—and love’s—sake? Or will jealousy and desperation consume you?

A short visual novel (though an actual one, not a kinetic novel) about three friends dabbling with witchcraft in a world which, supernatural powers aside, is as miserable as medieval life often was.

There are a few oddities here; the game switches between referring to you in the first person and third person at times, which can be tricky to navigate. At first I thought it was odd that the only characters shown in detail outside of CGs are Faralda and Odan … but then I thought about it a little more and realized that was very deliberate.
