I have really wanted to make a rogue-like for a while, and working on this has really satisfied that. I'm still not done though, and at the time of writing this I'm still working on it, and I plan on it being my first steam release! I'll probably remove this from this collection once the full release comes out.

Despite being a game jam game, I'm really proud of this game! My only regret is not spending as much time as I should've on movement before diving into level creation.

I almost didn't include this in this list because it's so basic, but I managed to include a lot of polish in terms of gameplay which I think I sometimes don't get right today. I do wish I was less stubborn about changing things once I'd done them while working on this; I didn't even consider making actual sprites for anything after I'd started using just the pygame draw and font functions.
