One time I drove out into the country to see a full moon too. I ate a weird gas station hot dog on the way. It didn't look like this, but this captures how the scene fuzzed my brain up in a sublime way.

Throwing pots is a really great game mechanic, it really makes you consider and reconsider if what you're doing is really a good idea.
You're the Needful Things guy, but definitely worse, and everybody knows it, but they want things anyway. Great horrifying visceral aesthetic + fun finger painting.
Don't read anything, don't look at the pictures on the website, try to go in as blind as you can.
If you're only going to try one visual novel, this would be a good choice.
