art is cute, gameplay is very smooth. the concept is interesting but the dialogue writing could use an editor imo especially toward the end, in order to ensure more suspense and natural flow
great esp considering it was for a four day jam! really like the concept and gameplay. if i were to give feedback, i think a gentle sound effect for when you find items would help the experience. playing with transitions between scenes could be rewarding
nicely done
ooo this one is not only really well done artistically, but it's also got a decent story. it breaks away from the 'slow slice-of-life romance' genre that seems to dominate the visual novel medium on itch. sure there are moments of the story that could be conveyed better (particularly some exposition that gets delivered through uncomfortably straightforward character monologues), but all things considered the VN was engaging to read and didn't drag. i love the setting!
Cute! I love an RPGmaker game, especially a Halloween one. My feedback would be that I would've liked to see 1.) tighter room layouts with more clickable things w/ flavor text, 2.) some pretty + spooky room lighting to create mood, and 3.) more definition in the CG illustrations
wow this vn is really clean. the full game will probably be really good
it was well put together, i can see why its so popular. i wasn't really drawn to anyone in particular though
really really nice!! very sweet, i got all the bad endings first ;A; but luckily it was easy to retry
an emmy. and oscar. a tony. a bafta for the ratchelor
hm, very.. cerebral? i LOVED the character art. i tried getting multiple endings but each one i got seemed mostly the same. it definitely reminded me of passion projects gone by. i'm not sure if all of the psychology really hit for me, but otherwise i think the writing was good and the game was interesting!
ah so nice and well done!
the dialogue of this game seemed pretty natural for a college anime club setting, but.. well, i think the pacing needs some work. a good bulk of the game consists of two characters vaguely arguing about various anime, which are all thinly veiled references to real anime. this started to feel kind of alienating - as a shoujo weeb, i picked up on many of the references, but for each one i DIDN'T get, i felt like i was missing out on important context for their discussions. i also don't really get what these discussions actually add to the plot of the game - when the argument scenes are over, they don't tend to affect the action very much, so it just feels like being forced to sit in on a conversation between two people talking about a show you don't watch, which is always more exhausting than interesting. i get that the protag has their own motives for sitting in on the convos, but as a player, it just left me clicking quickly through pages and pages of text. i just think that this aspect of the game should maybe be rethought..?
(the sprites are cute though)
i really liked this, the writing is so good!! i like the pace of it so far, there wasn't any part that dragged. the sprites are nice and expressive, would love to see if this game has any CGs in the future. over all, i'm excited for the rest of this game! i'm rooting for Coppelia, buuut i also want to see some bad ends haha!
wow, wow! all of the art is soooo well done, the dialogue box and the pop up windows for off-screen speakers is really sleek. the writing was good too. i'm not sure how i feel about the protag so far, they seem a bit distant and cold as they don't emote very much, but i liked the other characters. i'd like to revisit it when its done
i reeeeeally loved the backgrounds for this, and the sprites look good so far too (Lamb is so cute!). Unfortunately, I think the writing is stilted and sometimes repetitive, but that's understandable given that the creator is not a native English speaker. Not sure if the creator would want this, but I think it could be great if they teamed up with a strong writer to complete the game. There isn't much game yet though, so maybe it's too soon to judge. But yeah, the environments look great, and the CGs are cool!
i picked this up because the art style looked good, and it does. but i didn't finish this game..
tbh, i found the main character unlikeable. he seemed weirdly spiteful towards women which is probably explored later in his backstory, but it's just.. i hope the author didn't write him as hating women just to convey that he's gay, cause that would be very yikes. over all the writing left me kind of lost, i couldn't tell what was going on at the beginning at all, it took me a long time to figure out who was who and what just happened.
the starting premise of this game is interesting. there are some cool interactive parts, i like that you can explore the castle map. i thought the exposition moments sort of slowed down a bit too much though. also would like to see different sprites for the advisors and servants.
so sweet. i cant believe this was made for a game jam! there's so much inspiration to find here. i really want to play more of it! i'm interested to see what a more complex version of the cooking minigame could look like. i loved the point and click aspect.
cute, short. i really like the watercolory style, i kind of hope that that style is kept for any future game with these characters. i like the point and click
;__; so sweet... i really love what this game is doing. also there's just something nice about experiencing a private tour with really patient and attentive people, even though it's just a game. its kind of heartwarming
so very sweet.. this really motivates me to work on my own game! I got ending 4 :3 one thing is that i wish that there was more art of the game that they were working on just because now i kinda want to see it irl haha!
so lovely. one of my top bitsy games
lemme just flex the fact i got a perfect score on cake making my first try >;-D
