Great art and combat system, lots of obscure lore to piece together. Figuring out how everything works and how to win is fun.
Currently incomplete Yume Nikki fangame with a unique and psychedelic style.
Fictional documentary about alien whales presented as a click-to-advance visual novel. About an hour long. Gorgeous art, also got me far too emotionally invested in fictional animals. Highly recommend.
The Binding of Isaac with Plants vs. Zombies style gameplay. Need I say more?
Surreal and beautiful.
Favorite Twine game.
Gorgeous uncanny ambience, minimal dialogue, apparently abandoned.
Abstract Metroidvania, could never 100% this one but it's still worth looking at.
Nonfiction, autobiographical game about the creator's time in mental health institutions following a suicide attempt. Worth looking at.
Spent too much of my life on this one, still haven't beaten it.
Meta horror game, really well-crafted.
Haven't played all these Twine games but Porpentine is famous for a reason. Good stuff.
Weird and expansive browser game. Haven't reached the end. Not sure if there's an end.
