If you like In Stars and Time then you should play this. Very really good.
Very very cool adaptation of the Scorpion and the Frog. Fairly certain this is based on a tumblr post. The gradual reframing and recontextualization of the driver and the hiker is fascinating to witness. I'm always a sucker for timeloops, and this really captures the fruitless turn back and back and back, all in search for a better ending you're not even certain exists.
How Ending 0 recontextualizes the opening left me speechless. Tell me a story. It's the only story I got. Fantastic.
Vasilis' journey from misanthrope to reluctant friend haver is beautiful to witness. Their dynamic with Mary really takes the cake for this game's story. I cried at the ending.
The combat is decently fun as well, even if some bosses required a little bit of grinding to get past. It doesn't bog down the game at any rate, and the enemy designs are fun, varied, and colorful, really enhancing the atmosphere of this strange otherworld.
As usual, arcadekitten's character art is beautiful, and I like all the varied designs. Callbacks to various other works left me giddy.
Short 'n sweet 'n funny. Great Puzzles and great dialogue. The third ending is the peak of comedy.
