honest to god 1990s ass point and click adventure game. with all the baggage that comes with that like i could NOT figure out how to leave some rooms let me tell you what
but i did laugh quite a bit and i think the aesthetic kinda rips so unfortunately it is going on the recommended
this is AWESOME. extremely cute and polished feeling puzzle game about using a limited amount of pieces to match the picture on the right. initially i felt like it was a bit too easy for advertising 127 puzzles but i got like turbo stumped on puzzle 34 and i still dont know how to solve that lol. but this rules especially if you want a very charming and chill puzzle game experience. if i ahve a complaint its that there appears to be one music track and it really started to grate on me after a few minutes
this rules extremely. it is a simple word-association game but the story and atmosphere are so well executed that is absolutely worth playing asap
this one is an indie darling for good reason. it's very chill but very fun to just run and fly around! the movement mechanics are wonderful and the game gives you plenty of reason to use them. i had a ton of fun!
so beat 'em ups are SUPER not my thing (i don't really "do" combat in games, as a rule) & i didnt spend a lot of time with this as a result but it was so, like, refreshing how unsubtle it is. it's not beating around the bush. def recommended
this kinda fucks insanely
i'll admit, i really liked this! the premise is that the zombie apocalypse is upon us but you still need to go to work. its a top down shooter where you need to navigate the office and do meaningless tasks while also shooting zombies that are trying to kill you. the aesthetic is really well executed and does a lot of work toward making this fun and interesting. music is ass though
i REALLY enjoyed this. very short (under 10 minutes to complete) atmospheric horror piece about hunkering down in a diner while the apocalypse happens around you.
actually im obsessed with this one. holy shit. it fucking rules. its free and i think you should play it
this is a self-described “cozy horror-based dating sim” and i personally didnt think it was like. scary horror. but i absolutely loved it.
the premise is that you are vil, a salt courier in a city that um only eats salt and things mixed with salt? and the eclipse is approaching, a time of great significance in local culture.
i played the full yiestol route which took about 45 minutes. the art is gorgeous, and the writing was compelling enough that i kept playing past the usual 15 minutes. if i have a complaint its that the music was much more “miss” than “hit”. you should play this one!!!!!
this game may fit under some dictionary definitions of torture
this rocks. it's a puzzle game where you need to connect shapes with lines. got pretty tough pretty quick!
this is a game where you are trapped in a room and need to follow instructions on the terminal to drill through the walls and escape. it is very short (i completed it in about 14 minutes). this game excels massively in atmosphere in art direction. i found that interacting with objects was not extremely clear (as in it was hard for me to figure out where exactly it wanted me to be clicking). really enjoyed having to diegetically press the keys on the keyboard to interact with the terminal.
pragma is a bullet hell game controlled entirely with the mouse. the worldbuilding is really interesting and the art direction is top notch. unfortunately i found it extremely frustrating to actually play because a mouse is too sensitive to control a bullet hell hitbox imo, especially one that is one-hit kill like this one. still this is extremely cool and if the premise sounds interesting i highly recommend checking it out
like pragma balls this is a bullet hell controlled entirely with the mouse but unlike pragma this is slow-paced enough to make that viable . soundodger is being able to play inside of a windows media player visualizer. this whips. i played like five songs and i kept getting hit bc i was just being hypnotized by the cool visuals
