7.4/10 - An introspective but simple text based game, (30-50 mins), it's an interesting narrative experience as you learn about yourself, it's dark and deep but not scary or tense, it's also weird but calming in a way that you don't usually experience in games. However I do wish there were more endings based on your choices, but the 2 endings that exist make sense in the context of the game!
5.4/10 - Interesting and ominous idea with a very meh execution, (10 mins), It's a point and click game with a potentially good concept for a larger in scope game. But this game in particular feels like it drags and it get's boring by halfway through due to the monotonous gameplay.
7.2/10 - Fun goofy little game, (20 mins), It's a game with uniquely refreshing and really funny quirky dialogue with remnants of it reminding me of a more sfw south park. It's an interesting but goofy story which suits the vibe perfectly. However I have my gripes with the puzzles being not difficult but very ambiguous, and the boss battle being underwhelming and weird due to the bosses hitbox.
6.5/10 - Predictable but a good little game, (15 mins), it has solid visuals with a nice PS1 style, and a great atmosphere. The story is dark and good at what it presents but I thought ending was predictable halfway through the game. This game could be great but only if it was expanded on a few important aspects such as building more in the world such as expanding some of the areas, encountering other characters and there being some type of enemy that can give you a threat.
7.4/10 - A rough diamond that is definitely an experience, (3 hours, 100% completion). A grungy game with character, whether it's the environment or all the characters, references or exploration, finding new things is a trip. It's dark, funny, shows how extreme society is and combine that with a whole lotta DRUGS. But there are issues with this game such as it feeling repetitive with how the quests works, slow pacing due to movement speed, glitches with the inventory and some game breaking bugs. It's not scary or tense but it's dark in term of subject. It's a great game but it's not for everyone!
6.8/10 - If analog horror was a traditional indie horror game, (30 mins), the story is more interesting the more you find out, it's really tense and creepy in certain moments, but it's missing a few things and misses out on a few moments which could make the experience even scarier or more disturbing.
6.2/10 - Great premise and style with nothing further to show, (20 mins), great potential but it doesn't go past the idea of it's potential as puzzles are easy, there's no story, there's a great atmosphere and a really cool setting which leads to a experience that looks great but it feels slightly hollow.
I also wish the game pushed harder on those horror elements aswell as nothing makes you feel like you're in danger except for a few minuscule moments. It has a very abrupt ending and the game as a whole feels like a nothing burger with a lot of good ideas.
This game would be great if it was heavily expanded on as it gives me slight portal vibes and I can see something big out of this game if it was worked on a lot as currently it feels just like a prototype!
6.3/10 - Mediocre game with a fun little twist, (15 mins), it has an interesting twist which subverts expectation, however the gameplay is mundane and the game without the twist is just eh. But I have to give it some due credit as it does a great job at pulling you back into the game and you end up having a slight appreciation for what it does.
7.6/10 - R-rated but clever little game (15 mins), contains different choices and endings, the characters and some of the storytelling is weird, 𝓯𝓻𝓮𝓪𝓴𝔂 and funny. However it has one or two things I would've changed such as the ending battle and a few smaller things. It's not a scary or tense game but it delivers in being a fun quirky experience with a Halloween vibe and aesthetic.
6.7/10 - Game is simple but effective in conveying fear, (15 mins), it has a small story with a nice psx style. The main mechanic of the game where you go down a slide is great and leaves you full of uncertainty. But I hoped that the story and gameplay mechanic would be expanded upon!
8.3/10 - A special little indie game, (40-60 mins), it has everything to be a great game including a really interesting story and gameplay loop, amazing sound design and grungy stylistic visuals. It's not scary but has a heavy atmosphere which lends itself well to the situation that you're in. You can see how this game takes elements from some popular indie games but it does a fantastic job at doing so and I would compare this game to some indie greats...
7.4/10 - A small emotional puzzle game, (40-60 mins), a great little story with a memorable but abrupt ending, the puzzles can be difficult and sometimes easy, it's not scary or that tense but it keeps you guessing at what will happen next.
6.7/10 - A stylistically pretty game that feels like a dream, (18-25 mins), it's a unique little game where you figure things out the more you play, gameplay wise it's a little monotonous and wish there was more consequence to your actions but it builds up a story which makes you confused but curious of what will happen. The game builds up to a really good twist in the story which I really enjoyed. And as a whole is not scary but I would consider it slightly tense.
5.7/10 - Very Basic, (15/20 mins), shitpost game that has some small funny moments using meme humour/references. Could be a much more fun game if it was expanded on but keeps you occupied for 20 mins. It tries to sprinkle in scary moments however it's not scary.
7.4/10 - One of the most tense games i've played, (30-50 mins), It's a prototype and it feels like one. However the mechanics and how this game keeps you on edge is special, and it's pretty scary. The level layout is sometimes frustrating and the game does feel incomplete in some ways
7.4/10 - An interesting & solid story, memorable characters (some are amazingly written) and a pretty game, (1-2 hours), the gameplay is very basic but the the story engages you especially towards the endgame. The characters and the visuals of the game are the strong suits of the game for me as the game is pretty and the characters have great personalities. The game as a whole is not scary however it has some solid jumpscares.
There are small life improvements that I do wish were in the game such as a save system, brightness slider or pause game button as the game feels unfinished in some ways. *These changes might be implemented by the time this review has been read by you and if they have been, then I would increase my score slightly*
7.1/10 - Short but intriguing little game ( 20 mins ), as a prologue it gives an interesting game idea, it's a bit glitchy but it looks nice. It's not that scary but it has some tense moments. I'm looking forward to playing the full game so hopefully it expands on the ideas of this prologue (BEBE) (There is a full game of this released on steam).
6.9/10 - Great looking game but slightly frustrating, ( 20-25 mins if you don't die ), good setting with great aesthetics. The game has basic idea which is fun and is slightly scary (keeps you on your toes). But the camera is frustratingly annoying, controls are also a bit strange and these elements are the games biggest drawback as it hindered my experience playing the game. But if these elements are improved on and the game is expanded on then I can see myself giving a higher rating (There is a full game of this released on steam).
6.8/10 - Short Creepy experience ( 10 mins ). It's unpolished but unsettling and it would be even better if it was expanded upon. It has an interesting mechanic that I haven't seen being used before but it really makes the game feel special!
4.7/10 - Meh slop, short game (20 mins) has potential but not enough effort put into the world such as textures and certain visuals. Gameplay is too one note for being a slasher game!
7.4/10 - A solid scary game that has you on edge (30/40 min experience if you don't die), Interesting setting and back story with a strong art-style. The game definitely keeps you on your toes. *found a few small glitches*
5.8/10 Very basic, short (20 mins), story is eh however it would be better if it was expanded or told another way, not creepy but there are jumpscares, would be better if was fleshed out.
8.4/10 - Haunting and beautiful in it's own way, short (20/30 mins), the game has a great PS2 art style with a bit of an uneasy atmosphere. It's dark but not scary, with an eerie and surprising story that stuck with me for a bit.
5.4/10, Short (10/15 mins), interesting concept that has a lot more potential but it's is poorly executed. Game is not that scary and is goofy in how it executes everything.
