Gravity-flipping mechanic serves this game well, and the small, square arenas make for great little puzzle pieces to solve. The controls are tight and allow for some pretty rapid changes in direction, which is always a plus. A great, compact VVVVVV-like.

The cyborg announcer is terrifying, but the game itself is a blast if you're into tennis at all. Just be prepared to lose, as the AI knows how to dish out a mean backhand.

But seriously, this is a very well designed homage to the frustratingly addictive automotive football game everyone loves to hate.

Picture old-school Zelda, only instead of going on an epic adventure, you're thrown bite-sized mini missions every minute or so in quickfire succession. Oh, and also you're a pirate from the future. Throw in some challenges that rate your adventure based on speed and health lost, and you've got yourself a charming, bite-sized title.

Thou Shalt Be Brave is a mini dungeon crawler that might seem daunting at first glance, but if you take the time to read the instructions on the game's page, it's easy to get sucked into the the micro-adventures it throws your way.
