Gift Scramble is a semi-cooperative, deductive reasoning game with limited information, for 3 or more players. If the clues you share don’t reveal much, you’ll be left sweeping out the reindeer stables. If you reveal too much too soon though, you’ll be left in the cold as the others make their guesses.
Find the right balance of information to offer, make your guesses at the right time, and you’ll earn the title Santa’s Little Helper by Christmas!
About the Game So...About My Shindig is a party game about, well, throwing parties! Each turn, one player will be the Shindig Thrower and the rest of the players will be the Party Planners.
The Shindig Thrower will randomly select an event (like a doggy wedding), the holiday the event will take place on (like talk like a pirate day), a location (like an abandoned theme park), and a special circumstance (like that their dog is a HUGE fan of Tuvan throat singing). After weaving together a wacky tale of WHY they want this particular soiree, each of the Party Planners gets one minute to pitch their party idea. The Shindig Thrower chooses their favorite, awarding them a point.
Whoever has the most points after each player has been the Shindig Thrower once (or twice) wins!
What will I need to play? So...About My Shindig is just two pages (one page for rules, one for the random shindigs), with no cards! You'll need:
Players take on the roles of competing store employees, racing to earn 50 bags of gold first. Each day, you’ll secretly decide whether you want to work in the shop or grab loot that was left behind in the dungeon. But beware: if multiple players choose the same location, you’ll be battling over the customers or loot there.
Were You Paying Attention?! is a game about, well, paying attention! It's a reminder that paying attention has a literal cost —focus— and that it's important not to overtax listeners with too much information.
How do you learn that, you ask? By overwhelming your opponents with information, of course! This is a competitive world, and the only way to win is for everyone else to lose, obviously.
Players will take turns receiving a single piece of information they'll need to tell the other players. Easy, right? WRONG! Because you'll have a full minute to spew as much information at your opponents as you can, burying that single piece of important information in the process. If they can recall that single piece of info, good for them...and you, so long as at least one player gets it wrong. But be careful: each other player will get to ask YOU about something else you said, and they'll be rewarded if you can't remember!
