I never played a space-station/space-ship game with a movement and gravity-system this interesting. This isn't even the focus of the game, but it really stood out to me. It made me immersed in a way, where I actually gasped a little, when I thought I accidentally stepped out of the ship and would fly away into deep space forever. The murder mystery is well done and intriguing as well, but for me the space-ship itself was the real attraction of this game.
Another game similar to Starflight, but a bit more focused and much shorter. I really liked the interface, even if it is a bit clunky and inscrutable at times.
Great visual style, pretty good writing and interesting setting. A little cliché sometimes, but overall a great experience.

Star Explorers is a game with big ambitions. It reminds me very much of Starflight (in my case on the Megadrive), both in its ambition and in its short-comings. Like Starflight, the individual gameplay elements aren't very fleshed out. But the game as a whole helps me cope with the fact, that I actually don't own a real starship.
This game is very cute and reminded me of wandering around nature on holiday trips as a kid. Playing it on original hardware was fun tooand kind of put me even more back to the time I was a kid as well.
This game kind of "just works". It's a polished experience and fun to play on a phone, which is surprisingly rare for a sh'm'up somehow?
Now this is exactly my kind of puzzle game. I like the logical challenge, the nice interface and the overall design. Great simple, but challenging game.
Somehow this game was one of the most immersive games I've ever played. I absolutely felt the loneliness of the technician on the Eye of Ra. It's an interesting concept, that was realized masterfully. The gameplay is fun and surprisingly challenging, I really like the setting and world building. It's fun to just explore the solar system with the eye, which has so many details. I would love to see a continuation of this someday.
Beglitched has an amazing art direction and its tone just feels right all around. But be warned, the puzzles in the later game get very difficult!
The second game in the series makes you feel right at home. The atmosphere is still great and it was just nice to see all the characters again. Way shorter and simpler than the first game, but still worth playing.
This particular kind of puzzle game is usually not my favorite, but the art style is so inventive and unique, that I still wanted to put it on this list. Even, if I didn't play it completely through, the design made me stay longer, than I usually would have.
Akurra, a puzzle game, feels very polished. Everything fits together nicely and makes this a joy to play. This puzzles are all managable, although some are pretty tricky.

This run'n'gun is especially great with a second player. It's short length and challenging but fun gameplay makes this a very entertaining play-through.
Breaker is an arcade style game, mixing a few different games together. I played it a lot on Android, trying to beat my highscore. It's polished, and its twisted gameplay keeps it interesting even after a lot of play.
The writing in Devil Express is amazing. The characters are very likeable, the story is great and has layers, that make you think about this game after you are done playing. The gameplay itself is nothing revolutionary, but serves its purpose very well. I was left a little sad, when I completed the game, because I would have liked to stay longer.
